					<description><![CDATA[For a great example of dialogue that really catches the patois of a region (East-Texas), try &quot;The Two Bear Mambo&quot; by Joe R. Lansdale.  Very, very funny, occasionally extremely rude and rough.  Sometimes you have almost to pronounce the dialogue in your head, as words are omitted, leaving you to think the character has said the opposite of what he just said. I was impressed with Lansdale&#039;s mastery at writing regional dialect.]]></description>
