Thanks, Reebs! I was hoping to get your opinion. "Dressed like a rabbi" was a black long sleeved floor length black dress (?) with a prayer shawl (stole?) around his shoulders, a yarmulke, and a large button that read "Rabbi". I'm not sure if he was an actor or an actual rabbi, although the former seems unlikely. Silly question: there was a piglet in the petting zoo, would pigs be okay as pets? (I know they're not kosher as food.)

I can understand why your were uncomfortable. I would have been as well. Curious as to what "dressed like a rabbi" was, as my rabbi often wears jeans, and only wears skirts in Shabbat. The apples and nuts was moror, a part of any Passover Seder. But the whole thing was appropriation without education, which is just kind of icky. If she'd known what it was called, or if the prayers on the wall were explained, it would have been moderately less icky.
